Best place to argue philosophy while listening to tunes and drinking beer on a rainy Thursday night
Located on the Danforth right around the corner from Donlands subway is the Only Cafe, a tiny neighborhood cafe/bar crammed with mismatched cozy tables, and floor to ceiling posters, prints and photos. The vibe is laid back casual and funky, the tunes are always exactly what you're in the mood for, and the pinball machine at the back of the room is usually in use by a couple of cute and slightly drunk art college gals. The beer selection is staggering, there's lots on tap and more in the fridge and they carry a few rare and delicious brands that can't be had at the big chain pubs. On any given night you can always find someone scribbling furiously in a notebook, a hot debate over film or philosophy, and a couple deeply in love debating whether or not to stumble out into the rain and get busy in the schoolyard down the street. - Marvel , posted 02/14/06
